Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the external determinants of the performance of the banking sector, represented by growth rate in gross domestic product (GGDP) and inflation (I), and the internal determinants represented by size (S), operational efficiency (OE) and financial intermediation (FM) for the period (1996 to 2017), in some of the Arabic countries represented by (Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates). To reach this goal, cross-sectional time-series models (Pooled regression model, fixed effects model, random effects model) were used. These models were compared using the restricted F test and Hausman's test, and it was found that the random effects model is the appropriate model to represent the relationship between the research variables. The results of the research revealed that there was no effect of the external determinants (growth in GDP and inflation) and financial intermediation as one of the internal determinants on the performance of banking sectors, expressed in return on capital (ROE), because the relationship between these variables was not significant, in addition to the existence of a negative impact of a significant indication of the volume on the performance of the banking sectors and a positive impact with a significant effect of the operational efficiency on the performance of that sector. The research recommended the necessity for the supervisory and supervisory authorities to pay special attention to size and operational efficiency for their clear impact on the performance of the banking sectors, the research sample.
Abstract
In today's highly competitive business environment, information is the most important resource for all organizations, whether in the public or private sector. In most cases, this information is found in paper documents. Information capture systems (scanning, indexing) represent the first step in information management, allowing documents to be converted from a physical to an electronic format, as well as extracting the required information from them through digital archiving.
We also record our personal experiences and life events digitally on computers, phones, and other electronic devices, in the form of documents, emails, images, social media, and audio/video files. So, here digitization and digital archiving are very important?
Digitization and digital archiving, as an information security system, helps you to better manage personal information and records in digital repositories in an effective and secure way. It is about how you manage information and how you can make the most of it in an effective way that benefits you and your organization.
Digital archiving of documents is one of the main drivers of economic transformation, as information analysis allows you to benefit from making better decisions, which is essential for any organization regardless of its size, type, or complexity.
The development of technology and electronic communication systems in our lives has made it necessary to adopt them as a solution to the old problems that organizations face in their work. The difficulty of storing paper and keeping it safe from damage, despite the urgent need to return to it at times, led to the invention of a way to invest this technology in storing documents and information electronically. This resulted in the emergence of what is called digital archiving. Digital archiving is a necessity for website owners and businesses, as it is safe and secure in storing and retrieving all the required electronic data and files over the long term.
The process of digital archiving works to index electronic documents and files, and keep them until they are needed. It organizes this data and provides a copy of the original for use in research, auditing, and legal purposes.
The importance of digital archiving can be summarized in the following points:
- Quick access to the required information compared to the traditional archive method.
- No need to return to the paper archive and search through piles of papers.
- The ability to keep a huge amount of information that paper archiving cannot sometimes store.
- Reducing the number of employees (hidden unemployment) and tools, thus reducing the financial cost of companies.
- Facilitating the process of information exchange and sharing with others.
- Dispensing with unnecessary data.
- Developing the efficiency and quality of work using modern technologies.
- No need for large spaces in offices and institutions, and utilizing this space for more useful work.
- Conserving the environment by reducing waste and saving paper.
Digital archiving can also store a large number of data and information that is difficult to store in the traditional archive as it is an effective and scalable method.
Digital archiving plays an important role in meeting regulatory requirements through the use of technologies. The data stored is not subject to change or modification. Through digital archiving, you can find the required information regardless of its size.
In addition to providing security means for information by identifying the people who can access it with the ability for more than one user to enter at the same time. Digital archiving also features ease of use remotely, the ability to meet the needs of the organization, and at the same time reduces the risks that the organization may face during work. In addition to its ability to restore damaged data, the ability to export data and save incoming faxes and types of emails, and the ease of handling different types of files.
Therefore, the emergence of modern information technologies has necessitated a re-examination of the traditional concepts related to the archive and the processing of its contents of documents and dealing with them. The digital archive has emerged in all its technological dimensions, and it has taken on great importance due to its close association with the contemporary digital environment, going beyond the idea of digitization and electronic archiving of the traditional paper archive, to electronic practice in a purely digital environment. There are institutions that produce, store, and retrieve their archives in a purely electronic way in unprecedented conditions traditionally.

Abstract
This research aims to test the possibility of designing, providing and monitoring the training service in accordance with the requirements of clauses (8, 10, 13) of ISO 29993:2017 in order to know the size of the gap between the requirements of these clauses of the standard and the actual reality in the training and development center of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities. Which was chosen as a research sample. The research adopts a case study approach using the Check List as a data collection tool. Statistical methods were used to obtain the research results, represented by (the arithmetic mean and percentage to determine non-conformity and the actual size of the gap). The check list included Three axes, which are as follows (designing the training service, providing the training service, monitoring and evaluating the training service), as they are considered the main stages of the training process. The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that there is a gap between the actual reality of the researched center and the requirements of clauses (8, 10, 13) of the specification, as the total gap reached (34%) and is due to several long-established reasons that were diagnosed, while the percentage of conformity reached (66%). This is due to the center’s interest in the requirements of providing the training service.
The research recommended the necessity of applying the requirements of learning service providers outside formal education in accordance with ISO 29993:2017 to ensure the provision of high-quality training services and giving importance to the subject of documentation by directing departments to document all the operations they carry out in accordance with procedures, work instructions, or records to prove application.
Abstract
Given the important role played by financial inclusion in supporting economic development and reducing poverty, the study analyzed and interpreted the mechanisms of influence through which financial inclusion indicators can influence poverty. The study aimed to frame the theoretical foundations for studying the impact, as well as to build a quantitative model that has the ability to diagnose the nature of that impact, its direction and size, and to explain the mechanism and channels of its transmission, by relying on balanced double data (Balanced Panel Data), which had 40 observations, and through a model. Fixed Effect Model for a sample of developing countries and for the years (2005-2010-2015-2020).
The research seeks to get acquainted with the theoretical frameworks and empirical studies taken from the analysis and interpretation of the mechanism and channels of transmission of the impact that financial inclusion can exert on poverty, as well as the exploration of an objective quantitative model that has the ability to diagnose the nature, direction and size of that impact and to interpret the mechanism and channels of its transmission, based on data Balanced Panel Data through the fixed effect model (FEM) for a sample of developing countries for the years (2005-2010-2015-2020). The estimation results revealed that the indicator variable of the number of commercial bank branches per 100,000 adults (CBBA) had a positive effect, while the indicator of automatic teller machines per 100,000 adults (ATMAD) reflected its negative effect on the poverty index (P).
Abstract
The research aims to shed light on the importance and role of the external auditor's report in rationalizing the decisions taken by decision makers and to identify the most important basic contents of the external auditor's report as a concept, objectives and standards and the extent of their impact on credit decision-making in Iraqi banks. To achieve the goal of this research, an experimental study was conducted. It was subjected to a sample of credit officers working in (18) banks listed in the Iraq Stock Exchange, and their number reached (53) individuals, through the preparation of (4) hypothetical external audit reports, each of which includes one of the types of opinion expressed by the external auditor to measure the impact of the auditor’s opinion External factors on the elements of the credit decision represented in the size of the loan, the interest rate, the term of the loan and the size of the collateral required. ). The researcher concluded: "There is a statistically significant effect of the external auditor's report on the decision to grant credit."
Abstract
The form of estimating, analyzing and interpreting the mechanism and channels of influence that financial flexibility can have with its sub-indices represented by (Liquidity CU, Financial Leverage (FL), towards the value of the company (MVA) for a sample of companies listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange consisting of six companies and for the period (2012-2022).), the main goal that the research sought to achieve. To achieve this, in addition to proving its hypotheses, the research adopted the sum of pooled averages methodology based on the Autoregressive Distributed Lag and Pooled Mean Group (PMG/ARDL) methodology, based on data. The Balanced Longitudinal Panel Data, with a number of views amounting to (66) views, and its experimental results came to confirm that high levels of financial flexibility, whether through an increase in the liquidity index or through a decrease in the financial leverage index, are usually accompanied by positive effects on the company value index on... Long term due to the positive impact that financial flexibility has on the rise in the total market value of securities listed on the financial market, This calls for companies to pay attention to financial flexibility indicators and adopt them as a guide in their work because of their significant and effective role in controlling their sources of financing, protecting them from the risk of default, and supporting their ability to seize available investment opportunities, as well as confronting and overcoming financial crises by increasing the size of their assets compared to their debts and ensuring the availability of... Liquidity below the acceptable level.
Abstract
This study aims to determine the extent of the impact of financing on the market value of firms, by using a sample consisting of six financial firms listed in the Iraq Stock Exchange distributed between the two sectors (insurance and investment), and these companies constitute 60% of the research community for the period (2012-2021), based on the quarterly data to form (240) observations, and for the purpose of testing the hypothesis of the study, the Panel Data technology and the outputs of the Eviews-10 statistical program were relied upon, and multiple regression analysis was relied upon to identify the relationship between the explanatory variable (financial leverage) and the controlling variables (company size , fixed assets, growth opportunities, and trading ratio), with the dependent variable (market value), and the estimation results revealed that there is a statistically significant negative effect between the financial leverage and the market value of the firm, and that the firm's trading ratio and its fixed assets positively and significantly affected the value of the company It also showed that there is a significant negative impact of the firm's size and its growth rate in the market value, This result was consistent with financial theory and related studies in its various environments. Accordingly, about 43% of the change was reached, The outcome of the firm's market value is explained through the variables of the current study, which prompts financial managers to increase interest in how to form suitable sources of financing in a way that reflects positively on the firm's value in the market.
Abstract
The research seeks to determine and measure the effectiveness of the supervisory controls adopted in the National Bank of Iraq in reducing the operational events related to electronic systems in terms of the number of events and the size of the losses resulting from them, through the use of the inductive approach in terms of examining data on operational events and supervisory controls in the years 2020 and 2021 and applying theoretical concepts. Which were discussed to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in reducing operational risks. As a result, the study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is that internal controls contribute to reducing the number and size of operational events related to electronic systems and maintaining them within acceptable risk limits
Abstract
The current study aimed to uncover the influence relationship between the independent variable (emotional contagion) and the dependent variable (team effectiveness). This was achieved by understanding the conceptual framework of these variables and determining their level of availability at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Hospital. This was done based on the theory of emotional contagion and the team effectiveness model to explain the relationship between these variables. The research problem was represented by the need to understand the extent to which the spread of positive and negative emotions, represented by the dimensions of emotional contagion (sadness, happiness, anger, love, fear), affects the overall performance of work teams, their effectiveness, and the achievement of their goals. Although previous research has addressed this topic, most of it focused on Western work environments or neglected to study the integrated impact of all dimensions of emotional contagion on team effectiveness, creating a research gap that this study sought to fill. The descriptive analytical approach was adopted as the basic research methodology by describing the intellectual contents of the research variables. The questionnaire was used as the main tool for data collection. A sample of medical and administrative cadres in the hospital was selected as the research sample. The total sample size was (223) individuals. Their data were collected through two methods: the first was by distributing the questionnaire electronically to (122) individuals, and the second was by distributing it manually to (101) hospital workers. Both (Excel) and (JASP v.19) programs were adopted in the statistical analysis. The results indicated the acceptance of the first main hypothesis, which states that there is a statistically significant effect of emotional contagion at the overall level on the effectiveness of work teams. The results also showed the acceptance of the second main hypothesis at the level of the dimensions of emotional contagion, as the effect of the two dimensions (sadness and anger) was negative, while the dimensions of happiness, love and fear had a positive effect on the effectiveness of work teams

Abstract
The international country risk guide referred to the possibility of analyzing a country's political risks using variables that included certain common or differentiated political characteristics that could become an identifiable characteristic of that country. The goal of analyzing such risks is to provide a method for quantifying and monitoring their consequences through multiple variables, including, but not limited to, the performance of financial markets. Such evaluation can be accomplished by assigning risk scores to a group of factors known as political risk elements, and despite the large size of the effects of these risks on market performance (sectors and companies), some parties avoid, ignore, or even include insufficient estimates that do not reflect their significance. As a result, the research problem focused on the idea that such levels of political risk might have a significant positive or negative impact on the performance indicators of the Iraq Stock Exchange. The ARDL model was used in the study to determine the direction and strength of the influence on the research sample. The study uncovered several results, the most important of which was that the voting process and accountability connected to the army's intervention in politics, accountability, and democracy were among the most influential explanatory factors for the two models.
Abstract
The research aims to test a hypotheses explaining the behavior of commercial banks towards government borrowing in the Iraqi economy on the one hand and the effect of internal government borrowing on bank credit. government borrowing on bank credit. The lazy bank hypothesis is one of the explanations for banking behavior, it believe a continuous increase in government borrowing from commercial banks can create a risk that leads banks to reduce their lending to the risky private sector compared to granting loans to the public (government) sector and thus eliminates their incentives to search for new profitable opportunities To invest in the private sector.
The effect of crowding out means that the rise in government sector spending leads to a decrease in private spending or sometimes even cancellation. The main reason for crowding out is to reduce the government deficit if the government borrows from the market to fill this deficit so the demand for investment in the market increases and the value of money in the market increases automatically And the interest rate increases. Using a method of Co-integration and a Error Correction Model to measure the relationship between internal government borrowing and credit in a short and long term for the period Jan. 2006-May 2020 monthly data . the results of the econometric model supported this hypothesis, which reflects negatively on the size and effectiveness of the private sector and its role in the Iraqi economy
Abstract
Achieving sustainable development requires a framework for decision-making, accountability, and management, which good governance provides. According to the World Bank's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) report, Iraq has a performance gap of 34.1% in achieving the SDGs, which constitutes the applied problem of this study. The aim of the research is to analyze and measure the effect resulting from the internal factors represented by (cash liquidity, debt ratio, capital adequacy, credit facilities to assets, bank size, quality of banking service) affecting the profitability of Iraqi commercial banks represented by the rate of return on assets (ROA) and the rate of return on assets (ROA) and the rate of return on assets. Return on Equity (ROE), and to achieve the goal of the research, a model was built to measure the impact of independent variables on the dependent variable based on the program ( Amos Statistical Analysis Twenty-Fourth Edition ) starting from the application of the multiple linear regression analysis method on a sample of two banks during the period from (2010 -2019), and the research reached a set of results, the most important of which is (there is a significant and statistically significant effect of the internal factors in the profitability indicators (ROA, ROE), and the research showed that the internal factors that most influence the profitability of commercial banks in the study sample differed from one bank to another. It was recommended to strengthen the interest in the capital adequacy ratio, the indebtedness ratio and cash liquidity because of their significant impact on the profitability of commercial banks, the research sample
Abstract
The research focuses on calculating the expected credit risks according to the IFRS9 9 standard and how to apply this standard in the National Bank of Iraq. IFRS9 9 is an accounting standard that deals with the classification, financial value of financial assets and the management of risks related to them. Modern accounting standards require considering the financial risks of loans and other financial products owned by the bank. The IFRS9 9 standard aims to supply a comprehensive credit risk management system and supply a probable estimate of expected losses on loans and other financial products. The process of calculating the expected credit risk by the IFRS9 9 standard includes several main steps. First, financial products should be classified according to the degree of expected risk. This classification is based on the quantitative and qualitative information relevant to the bank and the credit risk assessment for each category. After that, the expected credit size for each category is decided based on forecasting models and risk estimates. These models are based on a set of accounting, economic and business standards. Historical data and current information are used to decide the expected credit volume and the possible risks entailed by financial portfolios. According to accounting standards, banks must include the expected credit volume in periodic financial reports and constantly update it. This helps third parties, such as investors and regulators, to understand the bank's exposure to credit risks and the efficiency of the bank's risk management. This process is reflected in the volume of credit applied at the National Bank of Iraq by improving the bank's understanding of credit risks and thus the ability to make better decisions in granting loans and managing risks. The aim of this research is to study the calculation of expected credit risks following the IFRS9 9 standard and analyze their impact on the credit volume in its application at the National Bank of Iraq. The focus is on understanding the details of the standard and how to apply it to improve risk management and make better decisions in granting loans. Through this research, we have concluded that calculating the expected credit risks by IFRS9 contributes to enhancing the bank's understanding of credit risks and improving its efficiency in risk management, and the correct application of the standard helps in supplying more transparent and predictable financial reporting of potential losses. Based on the findings, there are some recommendations for improving risk management at the National Bank of Iraq and applying the IFRS9 standard. The bank should strengthen its technical capabilities to collect and analyze financial data and credit ratings in a more correct and effective manner, and the bank should supply continuous training to employees on the standard and methods of its implementation and the use of proper predictive models to calculate the expected credit risks. Finally, the bank should give financial reports in an organized and transparent manner, explaining the expected credit volume and the potential risks entailed by this volume. This will help investors and regulators understand the extent of the bank's exposure to credit risks and the efficiency of the bank's risk management.
Abstract
The study aims to diagnose and clarify the role of audit evidence in assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting information system for the entities subject to audit. The study was based on a main hypothesis that states the adoption of the external auditor to obtain an integrated and comprehensive set of evidence in accordance with the requirements of international auditing standards in monitoring the operation of the accounting information system for business organizations can result in a set of benefits, including facilitating the task of evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of the system’s outputs to the extent to which the characteristics of this system comply with the requirements of the beneficiaries on an ongoing, accurate and objective basis. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, examine and test its main hypotheses, the study adopted the descriptive analytical approach by constructing and formulating a questionnaire that was distributed to the study sample consisting of a group of external auditors serving in auditing offices in the Republic of Iraq, and then analyzing the study data through adopting a number of tools and statistical methods.
The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that one of the most important challenges facing the external auditor when practicing the tasks of collecting audit evidence its dealing with auditing technology, especially with regard to collecting electronic evidence along with its traditional counterpart. In addition to the weakness in level of accounting and auditing culture for the audited entities. The study also recommended the necessity of providing adequate support by the senior management for the entities subject to audit in relation to the external auditor when exercising the tasks of collecting evidence and taking into account the element of audit fees and wages in a manner that is commensurate with the size and complexity level of the company’s activities for which the accounting information system is audited.
Abstract
Depleted resources have an important role in achieving sustainable development, by pushing the production process and achieving stability, growth and economic development in both the economic and social fields, but they affect the environment in varying proportions, as they represent the greatest danger in polluting the environment and its surroundings, especially oil and coal. This is what made the need to search for alternative sources and resources to achieve sustainable development, the preoccupation of many countries that depend on one resource, and the best example of this is Iraq and Algeria,Which depleted resources represent approximately 98% of its income resulting from the export of hydrocarbons, and the importance of this research comes from studying that depleted natural resources because of their great and distinguished role in economic growth and thus on sustainable economic development, by exploiting these resources and investing their returns through The way to support the productive sectors for the current generations to benefit from and to ensure the future of subsequent generations. The research started from a problem that is, is it possible to rely on depleted resources in achieving sustainable development,Is there a relationship between the size of those resources and the degree of achieving sustainable development, and the goal of this research stems from analyzing and measuring the relationship between depleted resources and indicators of sustainable development, and thus providing proposed solutions to address the imbalance between these variables in the Iraqi economy, as well as providing suggestions or recommendations in order to overcome obstacles that obstruct the process of sustainable development and address the problems of the economy, including the Iraqi economy
It also stems from the premise that it is not possible to rely on the revenues of depleted resources in achieving sustainable development in the Iraqi economy unless a large set of conditions and economic, institutional and societal reforms are available, in order to arrive at identifying the problem of the study, analyzing it and developing appropriate solutions to it. And standard, as well as analyzing the standard relationship to show the impact of depleted resources revenues on sustainable development indicators, and the use of various data and information necessary to reach the results of the study (research)The study concluded that the rational exploitation and management of delectable resources in the service of development is one of the most important criteria associated with achieving sustainable development, especially with regard to protecting the atmosphere from sources of pollution resulting from the use of energy in economic and social activities, especially in the transport and industry sector. The environment and development the emergence of sustainable development, which aims to pay attention to the interrelationship between man and his natural surroundings, and between society and its development. and limitations and obstacles encountered Unbalanced development has also led to the emergence of environmental problems in various fields, such as the increase in pollution and its impact on the quality of life, and the irrational exploitation of natural resources, including those that are depletable.
Abstract
The study dealt with diagnosing the quality of the external auditor's performance in view of international auditing standards and external environment variables. The study was based on a main hypothesis that states “the process of raising the quality of the external auditor’s performance and ensuring the fairness and objectivity of professional opinion within the auditor’s report that reflects the essence of control practices requires professional, technical and strict adherence to international auditing standards with consider the integrate with the external environment variables surrounding the entity subject to auditing" . In order to achieve the objectives of the study and test the validity of the hypotheses related to it, the researcher adopted the descriptive (correlational) approach, which aims to know the size and type of relationship between the variables, that is, to what extent the study variables are related to each other, sub-hypotheses were derived, which confirm the existence of a moral correlation with statistically significant between the international auditing standards and quality of the external auditor's performance, the external environment variables and quality of the external auditor's performance. This requires adoption a number of tools, including formulating and designing the questionnaire form in an accurate manner and making use of some previous studies in the process of designing that questionnaire in order to cover all study variables in a way that represents the study community correctly.
The study reached a set of conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which are , one of the most important determinants of the success of external audit practices and achieving quality in the auditing performance is that the task must assign to a professional and competent external auditor possessing a number of personal qualities , scientific and professional qualifications, including integrity, objectivity and transparency in expressing a professional opinion , as addressed by the international auditing standard that requires exercising professional care, availability of skill, competence and training in the external auditor, he must possess the ability to understand international auditing standards and the conditions for their application, possess impartiality in the process of gathering evidence, familiarity with the affairs of the entity subject to auditing and the nature of its relationship with other external bodies. Abstract
The research intends to show the internal determinants and to evaluate and measure their impact on commercial bank profitability, as internal determinants are key and influential indicators on Joint Stock companies performance that are within their control and management. The bank's size) as internal factors have become a concern for them in view of the quick changes and advances in the banking world and its technologies.
As a result, for the period 2015-2020, this research was applied to a sample of Joint Stock companies listed in the Iraqi market for securities, represented by the selection of (13) banks, namely Ashur, Baghdad, Iraqi commercial, investment, Iraqi Gulf, international development, Sumer, Mosul, Mansour, Al-Ahly of Iraq, Al-Mutated, Middle East, and used the descriptive analytical approach of the research variables available in the research sample banks in order to Return on deposits, rate of return on available money (as calculated by the statistical tool EViews V9), and use of panel data analysis according to the three models (accumulation regression model, fixed-effects model, random-effects model) according to this analysis, which will cover the research period (2015-2020). With the research sample represented by (13) banks. Through the application of tablet data, it was discovered that the internal determinants do not significantly affect the profitability ratios or the dependent variable at a significant level of 5 and 10%/4, respectively, whereas the aggregate model was significant and more appropriate according to the restricted f test, i.e. accepting the fifth hypothesis and vice versa if it was rejected. The constant is preferable, but if the Hausman test discovered a Chi-sq value less than the tabular at the 5% level, then this model is preferable to the constant, i.e. the rejection of the sixth hypothesis, and if the coefficient of determination was stronger and significant in the fixed model. than the random model It is more likely and appropriate according to these results.

Abstract
The quality of earnings is one of the most controversial topics of financial management because of its modernity, and it represents one of the research breakthroughs in the field of financial sciences, because it led him to shift from the aspect of quantitative financial analysis to qualitative financial analysis, and that his study alongside investment efficiency added another dimension to the presentation of theories, logical relationships and research opinions. In line with the edges of financial knowledge, it formed a philosophical title that measured and analyzed the relationship between the quality of earnings and the efficiency of investment in companies. The quality of returns on investment efficiency through under- and over-investment, the quality of earnings was evaluated using the receivables quality model, and the rest of that model was relied upon, after which the parameter that expresses the quality of earnings, and the efficiency of investment in companies was evaluated using the multiple regression model that takes the size of the investment as A dependent variable, and the determinants of that efficiency are then independent variables, and the rest of that model was relied upon, after which the parameter T expresses the efficiency of investment, the negative residuals express a lack of investment, while the positive residuals express excessive investment. To other companies, as well as an indication of the impact of the quality of earnings on the efficiency of the study, and the results of the study showed that the quality of earnings has an impact on the efficiency of investment in the study sample companies.
Abstract
The current research aims to clarify the role that psychological ownership, through its dimensions, plays in reducing the effects of toxic leadership, through its dimensions, in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals. The research started from a basic problem represented by the following question (using psychological ownership and its application in reducing the negative effects of toxic leadership), The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and used various statistical tools in the statistical program (SPSS V.23) to analyze the relationship between the main research variables, answer the main question, and verify the hypotheses. These methods include (regression coefficients, correlation coefficients, averages, standard deviations, and variances). In addition, various graphs and charts were used to illustrate the relationship between the research variables and their sub-dimensions. The sample was randomly selected from workers in some selected companies affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals in Baghdad, and the sample size reached 124 individuals. One of the most important results is that there is an effect of the psychological ownership variable, based on the four dimensions, in reducing toxic leadership behaviors in its five dimensions. Psychological ownership, stemming from individuals' feelings of ownership and connection, affects attitudes and behaviors in various contexts, including toxic leadership. The consequences of these behaviors can be harmful to individuals and organizations if left unaddressed.
Abstract
Today, The World is living in a state of economic stagnation caused by the emerging (COVID-19), and the impact of the health crisis, as a result of preventive measures, has extended to the total closure and almost complete suspension of economic activities. Abstract
The disparity in employee salaries across different ministries and departments raises questions, discomfort, and feelings of injustice, especially among employees with lower salaries in some ministries compared to their higher-paid counterparts in other ministries. These reasons stem from social factors, followed by economic factors. The prices of goods and services are determined by the size of the employee group with higher salaries, especially if a large group raises the prices of goods and services through their greater purchasing power. Consequently, it becomes difficult for employees with lower salaries to live comfortably, creating economic and social disparities among employee groups. This, in turn, impacts economic and social development. All these reasons prompted me to give great importance to writing this vital and important research, as I focused on analyzing several important indicators, most notably the cost of living index, which measures the minimum cost of living in Iraq, which helps us in formulating a minimum wage policy, and the private sector wage value levels index, which shows the minimum and maximum limits of private sector employee wages according to a labor market survey in the private sector in Iraq, where I concluded that one of the most important factors for labor market stability is the convergence of wages between employees in the private and public sectors, which ends the prevailing reality of the preference of wages for employees in the public sector over their counterparts in the private sector, and we reach a stage of equal demand as much as possible for job opportunities in the two sectors. The index of the total ratio of public sector employees’ salaries to revenues, which shows the high and dangerous percentage that salaries constitute of the country’s total revenues, which must be reduced and controlled, and the index of the ratio of the number of beneficiaries of public sector salaries to the population and labor force, which also constitutes a high percentage, most notably the increase in the number of new appointments that have plunged the country into a state of disguised unemployment and the inclusion of new categories in social welfare salaries, which has burdened the government and forced it to withdraw from the investment budget. In addition to the operating budget for these salaries, the average employee share of the total public sector payroll index (AEI) represents the average salary that should be taken into account when constructing the public sector salary scale. Analyzing these indicators leads us to an important point of convergence that enables us to formulate a clear policy for building a fair and balanced salary system and scale.
Abstract
The aim of the research is to clarify the role of financial engineering and its applicable tools in banks and how to manage banking risks. In order to achieve the research objective, the research problem was formulated with the following question: What is the role of financial engineering in managing and reducing banking risks?
Then the hypothesis was formulated to answer the research problem. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach, as the researcher collected data and information through references and literature from books, periodicals, master’s theses, doctoral dissertations, Arab and foreign scientific journals, and browsing the international information network (the Internet) to track the latest scientific developments regarding the research topic.
The researcher reached a set of results, the most prominent of which is that risks are inherent in banking work without exception, regardless of the type of bank or the type of activity it carries out. Financial engineering tools were and still are the subject of great controversy among those dealing with them and studying them. Some of them strongly support their use, while others consider them the cause of financial crises.
The researcher also recommends the most important of which is establishing the foundations of financial engineering and financial risk management and clarifying their limits so that the bank can benefit from their tools and products. Paying attention to training accountants and intensifying communication work that increases the confidence of customers and society as a whole in the bank’s services, which reduces risks on the one hand and increases the size of the portfolio and deposits on the other hand.
