Archiving Policy

The Entrepreneurship Journal for Finance and Business (EJFB) is committed to the long-term preservation of its published content. We recognize that scholarly research is a permanent part of the academic record, and we ensure that all published articles remain accessible to researchers, institutions, and the general public, regardless of any future changes to the journal or the publisher.

To achieve this, EJFB has established the following archiving and preservation policies:

1. Long-Term Digital Preservation

To guarantee the permanent availability of our content, EJFB employs a robust digital preservation strategy:

  • Institutional Repository: All published issues and individual articles are securely archived within the digital repository of the College of Business Economics, Al-Nahrain University, ensuring local institutional safeguarding.

  • Website Backups: The journal's website and its entire database undergo regular, automated backups to secure servers, preventing data loss and ensuring continuous, uninterrupted access for our readers.

2. Author Self-Archiving Policy (Green Open Access)

Because EJFB operates under a fully Open Access model with a CC BY 4.0 license, and because our authors retain full copyright of their work, we strongly encourage author self-archiving.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit any version of their manuscript in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, or on academic networking sites (such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, or their personal websites).

This policy applies to all versions of the manuscript with zero embargo period:

  • Submitted Version (Pre-print): Authors may share the original version of their manuscript before peer review.

  • Accepted Version (Post-print): Authors may share the peer-reviewed and accepted version of their manuscript before final typesetting.

  • Published Version (Publisher's PDF): Authors may freely share the final, formatted PDF generated by EJFB immediately upon publication.

When archiving the Accepted or Published versions, we request that authors clearly provide a full citation to the final published article in EJFB, including the article's specific DOI or a direct link to the journal's website.

3. Indexing and Abstracting Databases

In addition to direct archiving, EJFB actively pursues inclusion in major national and international abstracting and indexing databases. These external platforms act as an additional layer of visibility and long-term record-keeping for the metadata and full texts of our published research.
