Abstract

The study sought to activate the learning dimensions of the organization to become a (learning organization) capable of managing its strategic crises, so learning is the way that preserves its potential and strengthens its capabilities to be more rapid in reaction to successive changes and crises, so if organizations want to be effective in an environment dominated by uncertainty It has to rely on its ability to learn, and the availability of its dimensions will provide it with the ability to manage its strategic crises. Hence, the research problem started through a set of research implications that were:
- Is there a correlation relationship between the learning organization and strategic crisis management.?
- Is there an effect of the learning organization in strategic crisis management?
- Is there a contribution to the dimensions of the learning organization in strategic crisis management.?
The research assumed the existence of these dimensions in the researched organizations and how these dimensions affect the organization’s strategic crisis management, in order to achieve a flexible response to the turbulent changes of the crisis, and to achieve these objectives, a set of field-tested hypotheses were formulated by adopting the opinions of the members of the research sample, in order to accurately test the hypotheses and ensure their validity. Relying on a number of statistical methods appropriate for these relationships.
The research reached a set of Conclusions which confirmed its hypotheses to show the existence of a positive moral correlation as well as the existence of a moral impact of the learning organization in strategic crisis management. The educational dimensions of the organization as an explanatory variable have been identified 68% of the change in strategic crisis management as a responding variable. To present a set of recommendations aimed at activating the positive relations achieved and indicating the aspects that need to redraw their future paths in the researched organizations in particular and the corresponding organizations in general to confront the multiple crises, especially the (Covid-19) crisis.

Abstract

As it is necessary to enhance the knowledge of human resources and reduce conflicts that may occur between them due to conflicting scientific and cultural orientations or backgrounds, In order to enhance their role in achieving their organization's current and future strategies. Therefore, the research problem referred to the decline in knowledge and awareness of the importance of reducing the cognitive conflict and its role in managing the diversity of human resources and enhancing their strategic awareness towards their organization. so the researchers tried to embody the importance of his research in providing treatment for this problem and enhancing knowledge related to these variables within the investigated organization by achieving a set of goals. The descriptive analytical approach was adopted in carrying out the research in its various parts. The questionnaire was adopted in collecting data by distributing it to a sample of (97) individuals working at Al-Rafidain University College, and the statistical tools available in the (SPSS-V21) program were used to process the data, which produced a number of results that confirmed the validity of the research hypotheses and the strength of the correlation and influence relationships. Among the variables discussed, the researchers recommended the need to develop the methods and procedures adopted in managing the diversity of human resources by looking at the experiences of developed countries in this field, and employing its results in reducing their cognitive conflict, and then enhancing their strategic awareness towards their organization.

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the extent of the influence of emotional intelligence on the organization’s reputation for a sample of private banks in Baghdad, as well as the extent of the interest of private banks in research variables and their dimensions, to come up with a set of recommendations that contribute to improving their practice and adoption of these variables, and based on the novelty of the variables and their importance to banks. On the one hand, and society on the other hand, the research adopted the descriptive and analytical approach in completing a chapter and discussion, and it was applied in a sample of private banks in Baghdad, so that the research community (285) of the leaders represented by everyone who occupies the functional positions (bank manager, assistant manager, bank manager Department, Associate Director of Department, Division Officer), a questionnaire was distributed to them (170) to investigate opinions about the variables studied, and it was supplemented with data, observations and limited interviews, while the research used programs (SMART PLS V.3.3 - SPSS V.26 - AMOS V.25) To analyze the primary data, with the adoption of descriptive and inferential statistical methods represented in (the normal distribution test, the exploratory factor analysis, the confirmatory factor analysis, the validity and reliability test, the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, the relative coefficient of difference, etc. Relativity ratio, Pearson correlation coefficient, simple linear regression coefficient, multiple regression coefficient) to test the research hypotheses stemming from the main questions, and the statistical analysis showed a number of results, the most prominent of which was the keenness of private banks to improve their organizational reputation, by directing emotional intelligence (self-feeling assessment, Feeling regulation, the use of feeling) to improve its level, while the evaluation of self-feeling and the regulation of feeling directed to improving creativity, innovation, and social responsibility, it added the use of feeling to the two dimensions, self-feeling assessment and feeling organization to improve the level of quality, performance, vision and leadership.

Abstract

Digitization and digital archiving, as an information security system, helps you to better manage personal information and records in digital repositories in an effective and secure way. It is about how you manage information and how you can make the most of it in an effective way that benefits you and your organization.

Digital archiving of documents is one of the main drivers of economic transformation, as information analysis allows you to benefit from making better decisions, which is essential for any organization regardless of its size, type, or complexity.

The development of technology and electronic communication systems in our lives has made it necessary to adopt them as a solution to the old problems that organizations face in their work. The difficulty of storing paper and keeping it safe from damage, despite the urgent need to return to it at times, led to the invention of a way to invest this technology in storing documents and information electronically. This resulted in the emergence of what is called digital archiving. Digital archiving is a necessity for website owners and businesses, as it is safe and secure in storing and retrieving all the required electronic data and files over the long term.

The process of digital archiving works to index electronic documents and files, and keep them until they are needed. It organizes this data and provides a copy of the original for use in research, auditing, and legal purposes.

The importance of digital archiving can be summarized in the following points:

  • Quick access to the required information compared to the traditional archive method.
  • No need to return to the paper archive and search through piles of papers.
  • The ability to keep a huge amount of information that paper archiving cannot sometimes store.
  • Reducing the number of employees (hidden unemployment) and tools, thus reducing the financial cost of companies.

Digital archiving can also store a large number of data and information that is difficult to store in the traditional archive as it is an effective and scalable method.

Digital archiving plays an important role in meeting regulatory requirements through the use of technologies. The data stored is not subject to change or modification. Through digital archiving, you can find the required information regardless of its size.

In addition to providing security means for information by identifying the people who can access it with the ability for more than one user to enter at the same time. Digital archiving also features ease of use remotely, the ability to meet the needs of the organization, and at the same time reduces the risks that the organization may face during work. In addition to its ability to restore damaged data, the ability to export data and save incoming faxes and types of emails, and the ease of handling different types of files.

Abstract

The aim of present study is to explain the role of human resource development in achieving the organizational loyalty. The suggested hypothses which have been used clarified the relationship between the studied variables The following was concluded:
a- The study used the human resource development as constant variable with five important dimensions: (individual's development, organization development, systematic teaching, working groups, and human resource development strategies). The research is based on the analysis of field data collected through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of faculty members and staff at the University of the Future. The questionnaire was designed to include several aspects related to entrepreneurial leadership practices, such as strategic vision, inspiration, trust, and communication, as well as their impact on employees' creative work behavior. The data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods for the study.

The results of the study revealed that entrepreneurial leadership plays a pivotal role in promoting creativity and innovation within the university. The application of entrepreneurial leadership dimensions positively contributed to improving collaboration and interaction among employees, motivating them to offer innovative ideas and solutions in the university’s work environment. The study also confirmed the existence of a positive relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and creative work behavior, indicating that entrepreneurial leadership effectively drives employees toward adopting more creative work methods.

Moreover, the study found that entrepreneurial leadership requires the availability of certain fundamental factors, such as strategic vision, inspiration, mutual trust between leaders and employees, and effective communication. These factors help create a work environment that enables employees to think creatively and present innovative solutions that contribute to organizational development.

In conclusion, the study recommends enhancing the concept of entrepreneurial leadership at the University of the Future by implementing training and development programs targeted at academic leaders to strengthen entrepreneurial leadership skills. However, the total of the questionnaire received (189) and (25) questionnaire forms were not received. The researcher used a questionnaire to obtain data, and the research adopted the descriptive analytical approach in order to achieve results using the statistical program (AMOS V.25). The research came out with a number of conclusions, the most important of which is that cooperation and information exchange makes members of the senior management team show solidarity and cohesion, and this cohesion translates into decision-making processes. Smoother decisions, efficient resource allocation, and strategic implementation, all of which contribute to achieving the organization’s prestige. Abstract

This research examines the economic impact of geopolitical crises on international trade by analyzing changes in trade flows and strategic commodity prices during the period 2008–2023. The study relies on data from the World Bank, the World Trade Organization (WTO), and SESRIC, employing multiple econometric models including Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), Difference-in-Differences (DiD), and the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM). The findings reveal that geopolitical crises such as economic sanctions, wars, and the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant negative effect on global trade flows, accompanied by sharp increases in oil, wheat, and natural gas prices. The study concludes that strong economic blocs, such as BRICS and the European Union, have played a crucial role in mitigating these negative effects, highlighting the importance of economic integration in addressing global disruptions.

The research presents the fundamental importance in exploring the perception of the teaching staff in the judiciary of knowledge of ethical leadership practices and their role in improving their performance and to what extent the dimensions of ethical leadership or behaviors and influence on their ethical leadership practice are related. In order to reach the objectives of the study, by relying on the analytical descriptive approach, the data was collected in a comprehensive inventory method, as it was applied to the teaching staff in a number of schools in the district of science in Salah al-Din governorate, which represents the research community. The number of distributed questionnaires reached (140) questionnaires, (112) of them, or 80%, which represents the approved sample of the study valid for statistical analysis, and it was analyzed according to the statistical analysis program SPSS.V22, based on the statistical indicators (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage of difference factor and T-test).

The study came out with several conclusions, the most important of which is that: (a) ethical leadership positively affects the performance of teaching staff, (b) school leadership plays a positive role in promoting ethical behaviors among its educational cadres, and the study made several recommendations, including: Strengthening the moral qualities represented by justice, cooperation, firmness and trust Self-leadership of the surveyed schools as it governs their relationship with others and improves the level of individual and overall performance in the organization.

Data was collected from the research sample using the questionnaire form, and the number of distributed questionnaires was (55), distributed to each of the officials and workers in the Iraqi General tax authority, Professionals, and Academics at the University of Baghdad. A set of statistical methods were used to study the relationship between the two research variables, using the statistical program (SPSS) to analyze the data and calculate (the arithmetic mean, correlation coefficient, coefficient of variation, F test, R2 coefficient of determination, T test, Cronbach's alpha coefficient). The research has a significant positive relationship and influence between the framework (COBIT5) and the tax performance. The most influential dimensions of COBIT5 in tax performance dimension delivery, service and support (DSS), followed by evaluation, guidance and control (EDM), while the least influential dimensions in tax performance dimension compliance are planning and organization (APO). The research recommended adopting the COBIT5 internal control framework as a guide for auditors to advise senior management on the efficiency of the internal control system in the tax institution. This includes a governance framework for information technology, which is one of the most important pillars of the corporate governance system. This research also contributes by providing theoretical and practical implications for tax administration to improve the reality of tax performance.

Therefore, this study uses a basic literature review and desk research approach to investigate the potential role of human resource management in SMEs in Nigeria. The main issues with SMEs' prior to the COVID-19 pandemic are identified as being insufficient skills and training, as well as depression and high labor turnover during the pandemic in Nigeria. In order to increase their effectiveness and efficiency in Nigeria, efforts are made to encourage SMEs to implement human resource management philosophies. This research aims to analyze the role of empowerment strategies in achieving creative performance among employees of the General Company for Communications and Information Technology (GCIT), a vital government organization operating in a dynamic technological environment that requires continuous renewal and innovation. The research used the descriptive-analytical approach, and data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to a random sample of 140 employees, from which 137 valid questionnaires were retrieved for statistical analysis. The research focused on studying the impact of four dimensions of empowerment strategies: power, knowledge, information, and rewards, as independent variables, while creative performance represented the dependent variable. SPSS V.26 was used to test the hypotheses and study the impact of variables. The research results showed a significant positive effect for most empowerment dimensions in enhancing employees' creative performance, with the dimensions "power" and "knowledge" having the greatest impact. In contrast, the effect of "rewards" was low. The results confirmed that empowering employees cognitively and practically and providing a supportive organizational environment positively impact their ability to think creatively and devise new solutions. The study recommends adopting comprehensive empowerment policies within the company, creating a work environment that encourages creativity, and reconsidering incentive systems and information flow to enhance organizational performance and keep pace with the requirements of digital transformation.

The role of small and medium enterprises is essential in economic and social development and is the focus of attention of governments and international organizations, most notably the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. Their importance increases in developing countries because they represent the only realistic prospects for economic development and an effective tool for addressing the problem of unemployment and poverty there. The research aims to clarify the concept of small and medium enterprises and their role in achieving comprehensive economic and social development in Iraq in the current and future stages. The descriptive and deductive approaches were followed, in an attempt to link small and medium enterprises and sustainable development in the Iraqi economy in this research. Small and medium enterprises face a number of obstacles that limit their contribution and effectiveness in sustainable development in Iraq, then explaining the most important details in order to develop appropriate solutions for them. In this research, we will focus on several concepts for small and medium enterprises and shed light on the most important conclusions, including that the private sector of small and medium enterprises is in dire and necessary need of government support to be able to advance and develop. In conclusion, a number of recommendations were presented for the development of small and medium enterprises, and we hope that they will be of assistance in the research topic, including the urgent need for the Iraqi government to play an important role in creating supportive regulatory frameworks through collective funds and other mechanisms, establishing microfinance units in the Ministry of Trade and the Central Bank of Iraq to provide the necessary consultations for the work of small projects.

Abstract

Marketing performance is critical in measuring the efficiency of the organization and its ability to achieve its goals of profits, market share and many other goals.  Promotional methods are used in an integrated manner to achieve the maximum impact on the customer, and the research problem was represented by the weak use of marketing communications with which to achieve the market share that corresponds to the quality and efficiency it offers in production.  Research with a first main hypothesis, from which four sub-hypotheses were branched, and a second main hypothesis from which four sub-hypotheses were branched.  The sample of the research was (50) individuals from the directors of departments, divisions, marketing units and marketing workers, and a set of statistical methods used in scientific research were used (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and Spearman correlation coefficient).  The results of the research revealed the existence of a correlation and impact relationship between integrated marketing communications and marketing performance

Abstract

As a result of the great developments witnessed by the business environment in recent years, this has led to the necessity of shifting all transactions in accounting systems from the manual system to the electronic system, as these systems are characterized by providing accurate results in a short time compared to the manual system. Therefore, this research aims to demonstrate the effect of applying Information technology governance mechanisms according to the COBIT framework in enhancing investors’ confidence in the financial statements, and testing whether these mechanisms (planning and organization, support and delivery, ownership and implementation, follow-up and evaluation) have a role in enhancing investors’ confidence in the financial statements. The research dealt with private banks operating in the Iraqi environment as a community to conduct the practical test, while the sample included individuals working in these banks. To obtain data, the researchers prepared a questionnaire form, where (125) questionnaires were distributed, from which (118) were recovered, of which (110) were valid for analysis. While (8) were excluded because they were not valid, the researchers adopted the statistical program (SPSS) to reach the results. The research reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that information technology governance according to the (COBIT) framework contributes fundamentally to the preparation of financial reports that are characterized by reliability and appropriateness because one of the governance standards is Highlighting the accuracy and objectivity of financial reports, in addition to adherence to rules and legislation, and this is reflected positively in enhancing investors’ confidence in the financial statements provided by the banks in the research sample. One of the most important recommendations presented by the research is the necessity of bank management adopting the COBIT framework as a means of information technology governance and control, as well as the necessity of qualifying human resources in banks to use modern and advanced information systems in order to achieve the maximum benefits desired from this technology in obtaining appropriate outputs that reflect positively. Abstract

The research aims to study the correlation and influence of the independent variable organizational Dehumanization in generating the dependent variable cynicism in the workplace   This is to reduce cynicism in the workplace, as it is one of the negative phenomena spread in society in general and in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in particular. The research also aims to shed light on one of the modern vocabulary that is dealt with extensively by management writers, which is organizational Dehumanization, and what are the consequences and negative effects that it can have in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. From here, the main problem of the research was identified, which is (What are the reasons that lead to the appearance of cynicism in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs? Does the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs suffer from organizational Dehumanization?). The questionnaire was the main tool for collecting data and information. The research was conducted at the center of the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and the research community was represented by all employees at various administrative levels, by choosing a random sample, as (123) questionnaires were distributed, and (104) audited and measurable questionnaires were received. Which represents (85%) of the total distributed questionnaires. In order to process the data, many statistical methods were used, most notably the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, and structural equations model. The most important findings of the research is that there is a significant impact of organizational humanity in generating cynicism in the workplace in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

Abstract

The purpose of the current study is to know the nature of the relationship between soft leadership and dignity in the workplace for a sample of employees of the Babylon branch of the Textile Industries Company. Using the stratified random sampling method, the researchers distributed 134 questionnaires to a number of employees of the Babylon branch of the Textile Industries Company. The number of returned questionnaires was 131, while the number of questionnaires valid for statistical analysis was (128) questionnaires, at a rate of (97%). Then the data were analyzed using both SPSS v.23 statistical programs. The review of previous literature showed that there is no explanation for the nature of the relationship between soft leadership and dignity in the workplace in organizations in general and in the organization under study in particular. The results showed the existence of an effect between the study variables, which is the existence of a direct effect of soft leadership on dignity in the workplace, as well as a link between soft leadership and dignity in the workplace. Due to the lack of studies that attempted to know the nature of the relationship between (soft leadership, dignity in the workplace), this study came to address a realistic problem that directly affects the organizational environment of a sample of employees of the Textile Industries Company, Babylon branch.
